What is Patient and Public Involvement?

When we say “patient and public involvement (PPI)”, we mean the involvement of (former) patients, family members and family caregivers in the design and evaluation of research. PPI is crucial for research in order to make patient-centred improvements to healthcare. To accomplish this in the Endeavor project, a PPI panel will represent the patient experience and provide feedback before the start of the study, during the study and at the end of the study.


Our PPI panel will be composed out of people from different PPI organisations across Europe, such as:
